The gamer party bingo words
Ten cards, each one different, drawn from these 22 words. Calling cards are included, so nobody has to make a list up on the day.

The scavenger hunt list
12 things to find, written so they work indoors or in a garden. Nothing has to be bought or hidden in advance.

Word scramble
10 words to unscramble, with an answer key on the next page for whoever is running it: pixel, arcade, joystick, controller, victory, player, console, checkpoint, bonus, quest.
Ages, timing and printing
- Ages 4 to 10. Younger children usually need a grown-up to read the bingo calling cards and the scavenger hunt list out loud.
- About two hours of party. Bingo runs 10 to 15 minutes, the scavenger hunt 15 to 20, charades as long as they are still laughing.
- Plain paper is fine for the signs, banner and hunt sheets. Card stock is worth it for the bingo cards, charades cards and cupcake toppers, since those get handled.
- US Letter, colour, single sided. Print the invitations first if the party is more than a week away.
- The cupcake toppers say LEVEL UP!, PLAYER ONE, LET'S PARTY, HAPPY BDAY, HIGH SCORE, GAME ON.
Gamer party ideas away from the screen
- Run the charades cards as a boss battle: two teams, best of ten.
- Award paper coins for each game and trade them for small prizes.
- The word scramble makes a good level-up challenge while pizza cools.
