- Something that makes a loud ROAR sound
- A leaf a longneck would snack on
- Something bumpy like dino skin

Word scramble
10 words to unscramble, with an answer key on the next page for whoever is running it: dinosaur, volcano, fossil, jungle, raptor, stomp, scales, footprint, hatch, roar.
Ages, timing and printing
- Ages 4 to 10. Younger children usually need a grown-up to read the bingo calling cards and the scavenger hunt list out loud.
- About two hours of party. Bingo runs 10 to 15 minutes, the scavenger hunt 15 to 20, charades as long as they are still laughing.
- Plain paper is fine for the signs, banner and hunt sheets. Card stock is worth it for the bingo cards, charades cards and cupcake toppers, since those get handled.
- US Letter, colour, single sided. Print the invitations first if the party is more than a week away.
- The cupcake toppers say RAWR!, DINO-MITE!, LET'S PARTY, HAPPY BDAY, STOMP!, CHOMP!.
Dinosaur party ideas that cost almost nothing
- Hide plastic dinos around the room and let the scavenger hunt double as a dino dig.
- Play the charades cards in two teams: stomp, roar and flap until someone guesses.
- Hang the pennant banner over the cake table and use the toppers on plain cupcakes.
